I'm hardly progressing ;)
I've managed to plug Acegi 1.0.0 final in Roller (don't need to use the spring
2.0 to do that).
But when i try to configure Acegi to use LDAP, then it asks for a class only
existing in spring 2.0

When i plug in Spring 2.0. Nothing works (security.xml file format as
changed...)

So i've just extracted the missing class from spring 2.0 (luckily, it's just an
exception class, with no dependencies).
And now, roller starts, with ldap configurated!
I have some issues interacting with my ldap (i'm not very used to those strange
connection urls ;) ).
But i can see in the logs, that i'm trying to authenticate (and fail) to the
ldap.

As soon as all will be fixed, i'll make a global notice, to help everybody.

Have a nice week end guys ;)

Eric

I've upgraded Roller to Acegi Security 1.0 locally and there's an open bug for
it. However, I did find some issues in 1.0, such as its dependency on Spring
2.0, so that's why I haven't upgraded. According to the Acegi team, they can't
do a release (with signed JARs) unless Ben Alex does it, and I believe he's on
vacation for the month of June. They recommend using a nightly snapshot, which
is certainly an option.

That'd be great - thanks!
