Hello,
You may also need to change the permissions for the source files. I've
been away from linux for a while so I don't know the exact permissions
anymore.
I know you can chmod them with, chmod 755 *.c, *.h but I'm not sure if
you want to use 755. Maybe it was something lower.
BTW, You shouldn't need to change anything in the makefile unless you get
errors about not finding or having crypt, If so, You need to remove the
line -lcrypt.
