To run a file under Unix it either has to be in your PATH variable, or you
have to explicitly specify its location.  Thus, even if you are in the
proper directory, you still must type "./" before the command.

Thus, from in the Rom/area folder, you have to type "./startup" or else it
won't know where to find the file to run.
