If it makes you feel any better, I have a similar error under similar circumstances (meaning it only happens once in a blue moon and on copyover). The difference is I get my error as: "Close_socket: dclose not found." Same thing though where it spams my log files till I shutdown the mud or the autoscript on the server does, then I'm left with a 20-100 meg logfile. Not that my fix will help you, but I just put in a check where it gives that error and if it gives it more than a few times, it just gives up and moves on with an error message. Seems to actually work pretty well and although I know it's not a true fix, it was good enough for me when it only pops up like once ever 100 copyovers anyway.
