-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 I have recently become very annoyed with the way Stock Rom (and OLC) handle Area and Help files. Having silently listened to the list for awhile, I recognize that a number of people have also had similar thoughts, or just sought to move away from the files for other reasons, and ultimately implemented a form of SQL database. However, I have not heard much on the discussion of using XML based files to store areas (and I suppose, other things like player files). I tried a quick scan of the archives, but can't seem to be able to find them...
Anyway, does anyone have any arguments for (or against) the converting to XML for Rom files? What about XML over a Database? And any tips for performing such a conversion? Thanks. - -- Thomas Hughes -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: PGPfreeware 7.0.3 for non-commercial use <http://www.pgp.com> iQA/AwUBPZI+OGSVAizy6hWSEQKKVACfTOGYXa0Vk/wxLKsJHX2Tj8EOMDkAoME4 oTtzg46XA7PxI+nw8rdvDvLW =GT7K -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
