Those will both do the same thing. The only thing that \n will effect
is if you have, say

word = fread_word(fp);

and the file is

$(eof)

Where the eof is, thats end of file. It just wont go. I don't know
why, but it wont. Palrich tends to know these fine details :) .. Maybe
I should just leave the posting to him.. But I'm pretty sure it has to
do with the way fread_word functions. Look under fread_word for a eof
or eol call. Might get ya closer to the end. But ya, other than that
\n doesn't change the way the fread_'s work. Please note, that the
functions ROM has are not ANSI C functions, they are simply put in for
rom. The basicly use fgetc, which reads one chracter at a time, how
the game handles that character is all defined in the fread_*'s, so
check'em out! Read your code!
