I don't think so, no. Wait... Ah. OK, it seems if I start with a preset, and still have the preset dialed into the combo, that takes precedence the next time I load the file. If, however, I start with a preset, diddle the controls from there, and then dial the combo back to <none>, the controls are saved with the .rg file. (Or, I suppose, more correctly, they're always saved, but the preset control rearranges the others at load time if it's set to anything.)
