But print preview is completely broken - and I mean completely. I don't have a screenshot to hand, but all I get is a preview window which is grey, with a single 1-pixel high line (comprising intermittent black dots) about 32 pixels up from the bottom.
I've never seen this before. The print preview itself is actually handled by a separate application, and I _think_ all that happens is that Rosegarden prints to PostScript and then KDE runs a minimal ghostview viewer. It might be using some other means though, like the built-in Qt QCanvas save/restore procedure.
Sorry to all concerned - this has turned out to be a KDE issue, not a RG issue. For whatever reason, the minimal ps viewer is broken and I get the same odd behaviour doing a print preview on all KDE apps.
If I change the KDE settings so that it passes the PS to a full-blown KGhostView for the preview, then the preview looks OK, so RG seems to be working :)
I haven't tracked down the underlying KDE issue, but that's not for this list.... ;)
