It appears that Rosegarden 17.12.1 is less able (or not able) to save
MIDI device associations in a '.rg' file than it used to be.
What I encounter, is that I have saved a '.rg' file associated with a
hardware MIDI interface (in my case, an old one - the UART coming from a
Soundblaster card).
But when I later load the file, it has associated the MIDI device name
with a different MIDI device, such as Qsynth, or one of the Soundblaster
emu10k1 synthesizer ports.
It seems to remember associations with Qsynth ports just fine.
I haven't noticed the problem testing earlier levels of Rosegarden,
because I always use Qsynth for the synthesizer, and it finds and
remembers those ports with no problems.
