Another test that I ran was the following command to play a midi file
fluidsynth -a alsa -m alsa_seq -l -i /usr/share/sounds/sf2/FluidR3_GM.sf2
[midifile]
No glockenspiel but neither full percussion, so I guess it's not rosegarden
at this point.
