Everything looks good.  Plays percussion for me via fluidsynth.

  Definitely seems like something outside rg is to blame.

  I've attached a GM2 version for testing.  Does this improve anything?

fluidsynth -a alsa -m alsa_seq -l -i /usr/share/sounds/sf2/ FluidR3_GM.sf2 [midifile] No glockenspiel but neither full percussion, so I guess it's not rosegarden at this point.
