Just in case it might be useful for anyone using PipeWire as well, a
while back I made a simple Pyhon Tk GUI for doing exactly that without
having to run that long and hard-to-remember command each time I want to
change especially 'quantum' (i.e. Frames/Period). It can also be put
into the 'tray' with something like alltray if one wants to get fancy, I
just put a symlink it in my path and run it when needed.
Never really shared this although it was public, it as I made it for
myself - but as the topic popped up here I thought why not:
