Jeremy... Slight aside, but relevant to this particular discussion.

In the instruction doc I was following, in its original Html state that
line is complete and correct. (So no problem with the original doc).

But as I previously noted, I'd printed it out for convenience, using
Netsurf (at Printing defaults) and it had chopped the end of that line off.

I've now re-printed it at a slightly reduced percentage, and the line is
now complete on my print out.

The instructions in the doc are quite well annotated, so even I can follow
them (Idiots guide for me please)...

I like your end note... "But .. but .. it's the true linux way!"

If my experiences as a new user to linux are anything to go by, the linux
way is... One or two folks are extremely helpful, while a large nuumber of
supposedly experienced (Trolls) are at best insulting, but usually at
worst extremely vulgar.
