Running RPCemu v0.8.6 RISC OS 4.39 on a Windows Vista machine: If I copy a JPEG file from Windows into the HostFS folder, and then look at it in RPCemu, the file appears to be Text. If, in RPCemu, I re-set the filetype to JPEG, when I look at the file in Windows it has become a 'JPG,C85 File'.
The RISC OS MimeMap includes the appropriate entries for .jpg and c85 and, when transferring a JPEG file from Windows to a 'real' RPC, the filetype is preserved. Is there a problem with HostFS, or have I misunderstood something?
