I've tried with both the Windows binary 0.8.8 release under WINE and also my own compiled Linux version on an up-to-date Debian Wheezy AMD64. The fact that neither builds worked, made me assume it wasn't currently compatible. It does boot fine on the Interpeter build. RISC OS 3.8 does boot on the recompiler version, however. Only 3.71 doesn't. > FWIW, I use a 32-bit build recompiler of RPCEmu on 64-bit Linux as that > has proved to be the best balance of performance/stability for me. I didn't specifically specify 32-bits (dunno how!) when compiling my Linux version, so I assume it was compiled as 64-bit. Is there any other info I can provide that might help? It's not a big deal - but it's odd that it works for you, and not me.
