There seems to be a lot of threads regarding this issue. https://ubuntuforums.org/archive/index.php/t-1848739.html (someone suggests turning off 'place windows' in CCSM although that was for Unity on Gentoo) Also this: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/34870496/application-viewer-setfullscreen-function-not-hiding-ubuntu-sidebar (might also be a starting point for a fix in RPCEmu itself but note the last comment)
