Even with classes/ctors/dtors, SWIG tends to just mirror whatever
programming paradigm into yet another paradigm slavishly. That
isn't always the most useful or convenient binding.

Usually one can do better (imho) than SWIG (again mho) without
breaking a sweat.

Caveat: I have a distinct advantage knowing every RPM API and
being to change the API until useful.
