Um, something's fishy in here.
For one, if rpm2cpio and rpm2archive need it, then *all* the tools built from
that makefile would need it.
Second, rpm2cpio hasn't needed it in its 20+ years of existence, so why now?
And why those two, why not all? And certainly this seems highly specific to the
build environment as everybody else is getting along just fine without it.
I'm not saying this is necessarily wrong, but I need to understand what's going
on and why.
