Determine and output human understandable operations, including the related transaction elements where relevant and explain it in the manual. Drop the comment about making things more configurable, that's not helpful to the community (except perhaps if the default is bad, as it originally was).
Add tests now that we can actually test it. The first commit is just a means to make the output reasonably testable without having to hook up a syslogger into the container and then filter all the datestamps and all out of it etc. Related: RHEL-155272 You can view, comment on, or merge this pull request online at: https://github.com/rpm-software-management/rpm/pull/4215 -- Commit Summary -- * Add a configurable output target to the syslog plugin * Report meaningful operation names in syslog output -- File Changes -- M docs/man/rpm-plugin-syslog.8.scd (38) M plugins/syslog.c (142) A tests/data/SPECS/logtest.spec (11) M tests/rpmi.at (77) -- Patch Links -- https://github.com/rpm-software-management/rpm/pull/4215.patchhttps://github.com/rpm-software-management/rpm/pull/4215.diff -- Reply to this email directly or view it on GitHub: https://github.com/rpm-software-management/rpm/pull/4215 You are receiving this because you are subscribed to this thread.
