To me, this looks like a simple C network client accessing the Dropbox API. The API server side implementation is certainly closed, but isn't the complete client GPLv3+ and CC-BY? If so, we have free software accessing whatever content (not a problem) through an API which is open but governed by specific terms [1]. I just wonder if these terms are acceptable (or could be ignored) in Fedora or rpmfusion...
