There are no abi changes in ffmpeg
I remember one ffmpeg update that had a change in the MPEG-2 decoder
that was enough to cause Kodi to crash. It was an unannounced,
internal change in a minor version update.
It is strange that I am not seeing a problem. I have media of all
kinds of codec types and playback streams from all sorts of sources.
I can spin up a rebuild to see if that solves today's issue.
I'd be willing to try it out if you do.
The odd thing is that if I started with a fresh ~/.kodi, I didn't see
the issue. Running a plugin (as in the backtrace) seemed to trigger it.
