Hi all, I have 2 questions and a request. All are for x86-64 systems.
1) is the mplayer package compiled to use sse/sse2/mmx optimized codepaths by default? 2) can the mplayer package make use of multiple cores? I ask because my system seems too slow while playing 720p h.264 videos. :( It's a dual core athlon 1.6G laptop cpu with 2.5g ram. 3) is anybody planning to package xbmc at xbmc.org for fedora? If not, I'd like to ask the devs on this list to please take it up. It's not in fedora because of patent issues. Code is gpl. It's said to be awesome.
