I'm trying to do some decoding of AAC streams using FAAD2 on a Fed13 x86_64 box, however it's not acting as expected.....The version of FAAD2 in rpmfusion seems to be a bit old and upstream doesn't appear to have either a bugzilla or a developer that I can see.
The problem I'm getting is that I can decode a source into 16bit LE format, however when I try to convert the same stream into 24bit LE format FAAD just hangs. Any ideas anyone?
