And I like using the akmod version since I update to the latest rawhide kernel fairly often and the kmod-nvidia packages are typically somewhat behind....however, it is unbelievably annoying that the akmods won't compile when the kernel is setup with all of the debugging turned on since it really makes it difficult to actually post any useful kernel information to bugzilla when running a non-debug version of the kernel. Seems like it would make sense to have an akmods-debug that *could* compile with the debug kernels and actually help with the debugging of issues....perhaps it's because it's "closed source" from nVidia that we can't get a debuggable nVidia akmods package.
