Hi,

The 6th bugfix release in the 2.7.x series is now on Pypi.

The only change was required by changes in the latest release of the R
package ggplot2 for which rpy2 is providing an interface in
rpy2.robjects.lib.ggplot2. API breaking changes occur because of this,
and while they remain minimal, restricted to that module, and likely
to be noticed by a small minority of users, one should keep this in
mind if upgrading to rpy2-2.7.6 is causing issues.

This is violating the assumption that no API-breaking change is
occurring within an rpy2 series, but rpy2-2.8.0 is really too far from
what I intend it to be when released and requiring new users to
install an older version of rpy2 seemed too unpractical. If issues
arising from this are reported, rpy2-2.8.0 might have to be released
with a limited set of new features.

Best,

Laurent
