I am getting an error:
send_files failed to open //c/files/123/AAII/BONDIRR.WK4: No
such file or directory
send_files failed to open //c/files/123/AAII/BONDMGMT.WK4: No
such file or directory
send_files failed to open //c/files/123/AAII/DUPONT.WK4: No such
file or directory
send_files failed to open //c/files/123/AAII/GROWSTK.WK4: No
such file or directory
send_files failed to open //c/files/123/AAII/MODELS2.WK4: No
such file or directory
send_files failed to open //c/files/123/AAII/MORTGAGE.FMT: No
such file or directory
The source is a windows98 machine and the destination a FreeBSD
machine.
The parameters I am using are:
set RSYNC_PASSWORD=<password>
rsync -rzvu --progress //c/files/ <user>@<domain>::files
I have double checked the user has write access to the
directory, but the error above seems to be something with the
client, but I have not been able to figure out what.
I am also a bit confused about the "-r" option.
>From the examples I tried -avz from the unix box to the windows
machine and that did the whole directory structure. So when is
"-r" needed?
