I'd like to apologize, since it was me who reported to Rainer that the segfault problem seems to have gone with the new release and that everything seems to be better now before he released 1.19.7. Meanwhile I realised that while the rsyslog-Daemon indeed ran without any segfaults, however, it didn't log anything sent to it via UDP.
