Jack,

I have written this small patch for v4:

http://git.adiscon.com/?p=rsyslog.git;a=commitdiff;h=9cfa072caa0ba1863c89ae6b
41d1c5838b9a42b0

I assume it will apply without problems in v5 as well, but I have not yet
tried as I am doing some more work on v4 first (hoping to be able to save a
merge or two, which clutter up the git history...).
