_A_ mail repo is on Github, not _THE_ main repo. The Github repo is going to be identical (barring replication issues) to the adiscon repo, neither is any more a master/main repo than the other.

* some docs are going to be in docs in some Github repo, but there are also
docs on rsyslog.com

they will be the same, just like the code is the same both places

* Github has a Wiki, but it's not used and there is a separate Wiki on
rsyslog.com and it requires a separate account (same or different from
Bugzilla?)

Does this feel like it will be a PITA for contributors and even consumers
of info stored in all these various places?

the issue of separate accounts for different resources is a real one, but we've said that we are not going to abandon the Adiscon hosting and switch to depending on Github.

Now, I have seen some sites that have an optional 'login via your github account' login mechanism. It would be good if that could get added to the existing wiki and bugzilla. This would also have the advantage of not invalidating the Google index of those resources.
