Hi folks, I wanted to say a very, very big thanks to all of you for a great 2013! In case you haven't noticed, it was one of the most productive years in rsyslog history, and this was made possible by the great many contributions and good discussions on this list here. I hope we can carry on with that in 2014.
While we added great features in 2013, even more exciting ones are on the todo list for 2014 (just to name a few obvious ones, the new imfile module and the first v8-stable as well as greatly improved doc). I also hope that we can improve on the new project structure we have begun to experiment with in the past weeks. This was and is very exciting to me. I am very happy to have such great folks contribute to rsyslog. You have my deepest respect! Please also let me express my best wishes for the holiday period and a happy, healthy and productive new 2014. I am about to leave for vacation shortly and will be away until early January. While I may occasionaly be able to comment on-list, please don't be offended if it does not happen. I'll be able to look into real emergencies, though.
