Did we really decide on using tarball-in-tarball? That's a bit odd ime. I was wondering if we couldn't just use git submodules to pull in the doc into the rsyslog repo and then create a release tarball which simply contains everything, i.e. sources + doc. Has anyone more experience with git submodules?
