Hey,
Apologies to the rsyslog mod team. I cancelled the previous email due to size
constraints.
Alexandru: Can you please post your rsyslog configs?
Cheers,
Mike

What's the output of systemd (Command: systemctl status rsyslog *AND*
journalctl -xeu rsyslog)? What about SE linux (Command: ausearch -m avc -ts
recent)? Is SE linux in enforcing or audit mode (Command: sestatus)?
Post your rsyslog. Someone will have a look at it.

Hello,
I'm contacting you because we have an issue with our rsyslog
utility for some hosts, it didn't send any logs, and no output file is not
being written. Our systems are based on Red Hat 8.8.
I've already checked your guide from
https://can01.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.rsyslog.com%2Fdoc%2Ftroubleshooting%2Ffile_not_written.html&data=05%7C02%7Cmichael.redbourne%40bulletproofsi.com%7C9d8603643abd47bc2e2a08dd87bb779a%7C9a63d13853ea411bbe8458b7e2570747%7C1%7C0%7C638815961458916098%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJFbXB0eU1hcGkiOnRydWUsIlYiOiIwLjAuMDAwMCIsIlAiOiJXaW4zMiIsIkFOIjoiTWFpbCIsIldUIjoyfQ%3D%3D%7C0%7C%7C%7C&sdata=bDbNHB%2FgWytOlmieMTn1xsJBW1RdnXuXI62Gi8kRDv0%3D&reserved=0<https://www.rsyslog.com/doc/troubleshooting/file_not_written.html>,
adjust as described but nothing changed, I've compare it with a system were
the rsyslog it's working and they are the same.
My question is, could you please help us so we can solve our
issue? I can provide the rsyslog configuration file or anything that you
request.
BR,
Marco.
