Job Title - Scala Developer Location - Pennsylvania, PA
*Job Description:* Client is looking for a talented and creative Scala Developer to remotely join and support during the PST hours who takes responsibility and ownership in providing software solutions and contributing to the overall success of the team. The individual in this position will act as a trailblazer for the team and increase development, delivery, and operational efficiencies through best practices, industry standards and high quality of engineering. The individual will help support all project related architecture, design, development, deployment of data-oriented integration across platforms and projects as matrix organization. Responsibilities: • This position is remote, and must be able to support during the US PST hours • This position will design, develop, and configure software systems to meet market and/or client requirements either end-to-end from analysis, design, implementation, quality assurance (including testing), to delivery and maintenance of the software product or system or for a specific phase of the lifecycle. • Your responsibilities will include rapid development of prototypes/concepts along with regular development. You are experienced with agile development and a champion of software development best practices. • Work as part of a cross-functional agile development team in all phases of development and production support • Collaborate with other development and engineering teams in building, deploying and monitoring services • Define and implement industry-standard coding practices in the appropriate programming languages • Perform improvement activities, code review, code optimization and query tuning. • Discuss user stories with the rest of the team and provide technical input when necessary • Perform peer reviews on source code to ensure reuse, scalability and the use of best practices • Maintain thorough and well-written documentation at a high project level, as well as at the coding level Requirements/Tech Stack: • Must be self-motivated, and ability to work independently, Fast learner, Pays attention to detail. • Ability to think like an architect, produce high quality code. • Understanding of Service Oriented Architectures. • Minimum 4 years experience in Scala Programming Language • Strong software design skills and knowledge of design patterns • Used TDD and ATDD, using Cucumber-Jvm, ScalaTest. • Must be able to build REST services from the ground up. • Hands-on experience in Scala, Http4s, Amazon Web Service (Lambda, S3, Kinesis, SQS). • Strong in OOP & Functional paradigm • Understanding of Agile development methodology and AWS environment. -- Thanks and Regards, Praveen J *Email Address *- [email protected] *Talent Acquisition Specialist* http://adepttechservices.com <http://adepttechservices.com/en/> 11340 Lakefield Dr., Suite 200, Johns Creek, GA 30097 Ph: (404)-282-0559 -- You received this message because you are subscribed to "rtc-linux".
