Work Type: 5 days onsite Rate: $46 per hour on C2C (No benefits) Mode of Interview: Virtual Note: Requires local candidates; only independent candidates. Candidate must meet all minimum qualification requirements listed below. What is our client looking for? Our client is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented QA Tester with a strong background in functional, technical, and performance testing. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in test planning, defect management, Agile testing environments, and data quality validation. The consultant will be responsible for ensuring high-quality deliverables by creating test cases, executing tests, validating data, and documenting results. Primary Responsibilities • Conduct functional, technical, and performance testing across applications. • Develop and execute detailed test plans, test scenarios, and test cases. • Identify and document data quality issues and support creation of data quality rules. • Manage defects end-to-end, including logging, tracking, and closure. • Create test data that accurately reflects production-level datasets. • Prepare and maintain technical documentation for user support and system understanding. • Work closely with Agile teams to support iterative development cycles. • Utilize issue-tracking tools such as Jira or Redmine to manage tasks and defects. Experience / Preferred Qualifications • 6+ years of experience in functional, technical, and performance testing. • 6+ years of experience developing and performing quality testing and validating data quality. • 6+ years of experience in defect management. • 6+ years of experience creating and executing test plans, scenarios, and test cases. • 6+ years of experience testing in Agile development environments. • 6+ years of experience creating end-user technical documentation. • 6+ years of experience generating production-level test data. • 6+ years of experience with issue tracking tools such as Jira or Redmine. • Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills. Education Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, MIS, or a related field (degree copy required).
