Hi Tony,

To me the fundamental issue is to give host control on *at least* exit
path.

If you agree with this I am not sure why this would be a band-aid solution.
To me this is the good solution when hosts (say in IPv6 world) will have
more then one routable IP address.

And why host should have that control  in the first place - to me to
measure N paths and choose best to reach its destinations.
