Hi,

Is there any mechanism by which one can reserve 4MB of contigous RAM (Or
two contigous blocks of 2MB each) below the 16MB limit for use by an
application for DMA purpose ? (ISA card - so cannot access memory beyond
16M)

Solutions which involve patching the kernel are also acceptable, since
the system will be devoted to this specific application. If that's the
only way, which portions do I patch ?
