Please don't bother with 2.0.36. Get 2.0pre2 (2.0 final is due this week)
from ftp://fsmlabs.com/pub/rtlinux/v2.
Or, at least, use 1.3 from ftp://fsmlabs.com/pub/rtlinux/v1.
