I wrote a driver for linux. When I do depmod -ade,
I get unresolved symbols on kmalloc, printk, register_chrdev?
Although it does not affect the driver, the driver still works. But it is
annoying to see it when redhat starts up since it does depmod -a everytime
it starts up.

why is that?

thanks
