The compiler situation in RedHat 7.0 is shakey, at best. I'd suggest
upgrading to redhat 6.2. If you do need 7.0, or it's not feasible to move
to 6.2, then be sure to use the correct compiler. You'll need to use
'kgcc' rather than gcc.
Please note, we have not tested with any of the compilers or binutils under
redhat 7.0. We very likely won't be testing with those, either since
they're known to cause problems with the kernel and user code.
I strongly recommend moving away from redhat 7.0.
