While you may find this particular situation frustrating, I think it's
important to remember that everyone here is trying to achieve the same
thing.  A kickass web development framework.

I definitely think we need to be cautious about just how much we cram
into these polymorphic situations, and perhaps we should take some
out, but lets try and keep the tone of this list positive, and not
assume malice or enterpriseyness on the part of a participant.
