Koz, I'm not assuming *any* malice or enterpriseyness here at all. I *know* that everyone has the best of intentions and that everyone involved in this is smart (in case that is being called into question but not being stated).
So in order to ensure the technical content of what I'm saying isn't derailed by my tone: If I have offended anyone then I unequivocally aplogize; my email *was* harsh. It may help to know that I meant to hit "Save Now" and reread everything :-( I would be very grateful if you could read beyond the overall tone and examine the technical merits of what I'm saying.
