One word, yes!

If you want to use Ruby 1.9 with Rails then you have to reinstall all
the gems under Ruby 1.9 which is where you might get issues. Currently
Ruby 1.9.1 and Rails 2.3.3 works fine but there are issues with some
gems, please check out this website for more information about what
