 |
 |This would totally make sense in my opinion, the problem is we don't
 |have v14.9.13 in Debian, but v14.9.11, and we need two "UPDATE" version
 |bumps (in the MAJOR.MINOR.UPDATE semantic) to get to 14.9.13, on which
 |we can apply the bug fixes in the stable/stable branch. And UPDATE
 |releases are not bugfix-only releases, so not really suitable for
 |inclusion while Debian is in deep freeze.

I see, i had forgotten that 14.9.13 came to late for the Debian
freeze, and it really is v14.9.11. Yeah, it really is v14.9.11.
Well...

 |I can of course backport the latest stable version of s-nail once Buster
 |is released, and I will, but that's not the same of course.
 |
 |Please let me know if I misunderstood something, and thanks a lot for
 |your feedback.

Nah, it is ok. But in general i have doubts regarding this Debian
policy, so many bugs have been fixed .. that possibly the few that
came anew count less. In my opinion. Of course, if i had more
time i could cherry-pick more bugfixes to even elder releases, but
i think that will not happen. So, pfff, busted.

Ciao, Paride.
