It's made by Lionel but marketed as American Flyer. Thus it is 1/64th scale 
with oversized flanges. From what I've seen it is an excellent model, 
though some operating problems exist. It's a bit pricey but it does have 
possibilities for a full scale conversion. One recently sold on eBay if you
