Hi Ted, 50 would be my ultimate target number, mixed among
different classes of wood and steel PFE reefers. Sice I plan to build
the layout in sections I won't need 50 for quite a while. I could
probably use about 10 of a new PRS run of steel cars.
I've actually finally built one S scale boxcar, an old permabuilt
KSC car, and I'm building two PFE cars from cardboard sides I copied
at 75% reduction from O scale cars, so I'm on my way again (about two
years ago I got a few S scale cars but then got discouraged and sold
them) this time I'll at least get some track up and running and get a
loco and install soundtraxx and give S a fair try.....dave
