Roy, Generally speaking any rail code #126 or larger will accommodate
most AF wheel sets, all this is really determined by the spike heads as
much as the rail itself.. My layout has a few feet of SHS and about 200
feet of the miller tie strip ; visiting cars do fine(mine are all
scale). I have heard that there are several variations of AF wheels
however, so some might have a tendency to ride the spike heads.
