Yes, I intend to have a couple OB boxcars on the layout, but they need to be 
very diluted among the predominance of steel cars at that time. I think I 
recall that the Northern Pacific even made outside braced cars during WW2 on 
account of the steel shortage.  Some of those were in use into the early 
70s, I think.
