I did a one-day table at the dealer show and had the time of my life! Previously, I'd done an O-scale show in New Jersey and was concerned that the sponsors had no information about sales tax. In the event the issue was moot. Thus, I've not been tempted to do a show since.
But with S-scale being a good scale for me, and the convention being so close, I thought I'd give it a shot. Many people I've worked with over the years but had not met came by and introduced themselves. Some of them, and others, plucked S-scale decals off my board and crossed my palm with greenbacks. The show thoroughly satisfying, and has gone to my head. I'm now looking at the information for next year's show, in Lowell, MA, and having dreams of even better times. The trips look awesome.
