Ed,

I was just in Maine for the National Narrow Gauge Convention....1500 folks
showed up...
There were a number of modelers there....Visited two homes (I did not have
more time)
with HO layouts. Both were members of a club of 70 people....Yes, they were
North of
Portland, and your South of Portland, but there are Railfans and Modelers in
Maine....
I'd also guess that the NMRA has a division in Maine too....Or New
Hampshire....

As you may remember....My current modeling focus is Sn2...Can't get more
obscure than
that....Yet I have guys asking to work on my layout...They just want to be
apart of something...
I expect the same when I do Sn56.5 too...

Anyway....The point is folks are out there that like trains...Some may not
even have model
railroads....If you want them....Seek them....The visit you and your
layout....Find RR friends is
kind of like dating....You have to get out there...

You may find another S-scaler in Maine...On this list...You may start
driving up to 3 hours to
visit others too...
