Dick, I am not a candidate for purchasing this loco (maybe Ed Loizeaux!) but I read your description with interest. What really intrigues me is that you have enabled this loco optionally to use catenary for power. I have read about modelers doing this but have never seen it done. I came to the conclusion a long time ago that the use of catenary for powering a model train was probably more theoretical than real. I was sure there were some doing it but also sure it was darn few. I wonder if you have catenary on your layout? If you do, would it be possible to share a video of it operating? Are you sure you do not want to keep this loco and possibly be the first in S scale to use DCC with catenary powered locos? - Earl Henry, Nashville, TN
